Certainly the new generation of Amazon tablet will allow for faster speeds and a larger screen, both of which are highly anticipated by Kindle ereader enthusiasts. As they remain rumors, the pricing structure is expected to debut at $199 – $249, which will place it in direct competition with the Nexus 7 tablet at that same price point, and as always with the next generation of iPad that is scheduled to debut before the holidays.

The latest word is that Amazon will unveil the new tablet and ereader lineup at a September 6th press conference in California.  Invitations were sent out to members of the press just this past week, which has led to increased speculation that the Kindle Fire 2 will be here soon.
