Amazon has been significantly left behind by the release of Google Nexus 7 tablets and iPad. This is affirmed by the fact that it is almost an year since Amazon released Kindle Fire tablets which since then has faced stiff competition from the latest releases by competitors. However it is rumored that Amazon is planning to counter the competitors’ initiatives by releasing a new Kindle Fire 2 which will be updated and modernized to offer updated features. In fact the speculation is that Amazon will be releasing three new Kindle Fire tablets with diverse features and price points, so as to cater for the different customers needs.

According to the recent speculative information, the new Kindle Fire will be seven inches in terms of its size and will be built by the company that built the first release. However the plastic cover that was in the other release will be replaced with a more durable metal chassis and the battery will be made by undisclosed company. It is also believed that the new release will have a display pixel density of two hundred and sixteen pixels per inch which is forty eight pixels per inch lower than the one in iPad 3 but equal to the one in the nexus 7. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the new Amazon Kindle will either be powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chip or an OMAP CPU.
The anticipated release is rumored to incorporate three Kindle Fire 2 which will be differentiated by the diverse feature in each of them. One will have a 1280×800 display and a camera while the other will have a display of 1024×600 but with no camera. Furthermore, the third one will have a display of 12800×1200 display, 4G and a camera so as to serve the customers who might require those particular features.
Some of the latest speculation is also saying that the formal announcement about the release will be done on the 31st of July and the new Kindle Fire release date will be on 7th of August. The formal announcement is meant to entice the market and create adequate anticipation atmosphere so the interested customers can prepare themselves. The new releases will also have minimal problems when it comes to marketing if the release of the already existing Kindle is anything to go by. This is affirmed that a few months after its release, the Kindle Fire had a fifty four percentage market share thus making it the most popular android tablet. Hence the release of Amazon new Kindle Fire 2 is eagerly waited by customers and other players in the market.
